Black Restaurant Group is hiring! We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and motivated Assistant General Manager with a love for food and hospitality to lead our team. We strive for a welcoming and fun work environment while maintaining superior levels of service in a high-volume restaurant. Benefits include insurance options, paid vacation and sick leave, and dining discounts.
Job Requirements:
- Highly motivated professional that utilizes experience and knowledge to effectively operate and manage a premier high-volume restaurant
- Excellent customer service
- Proven organizational, time management and solution-based skills
- Professional experience in developing service and bar staff, ongoing training of steps of service and beverage knowledge
- Ability to motivate service staff in a team environment
- Previous upper-level management experience required either as an AGM or GM and showing professional longevity
- Previous experience controlling a seasonal beverage program to include beer, spirits and wine
- Solid background with conducting weekly / monthly inventories and generating costs
- Prior experience with scheduling FOH departments
- Current ServSafe and Tips certifications peferred
