Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience? Do you enjoy working with a team in a fun environment? Would you like to learn more about the world of wine?

We are currently recruiting a dynamic Team Lead to help lead and deliver exceptional customer service, coaching and developing of team members and performing administrative responsibilities in support of the Store Manager. This leadership role will work alongside the Store Manager to oversee store operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including providing work direction to Wine Merchants

  • Meet and exceed sales targets, including coaching the team on achieving their goals

  • Implement and monitor store policies and procedures

  • Perform additional administrative functions including product ordering, receiving, merchandising, recording inventory write-offs and inventory counting.

  • Assisting with the training and coaching of team members

  • Role model the execution of our Customer Experience programs

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years retail experience with 1 year retail leadership

  • Smart Serve certification

  • POS register experience

  • Essential Duties include selling, customer wine sampling, registering sales, cash handling, wine handling (deliveries, case transfers, stocking shelves), and general cleaning.

  • Physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders

  • Must be 19 years of age or older. High School or equivalent education required.

  • Smart Serve is required

  • Evening, weekend and holiday shifts required
