Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Non-Invasive Cardiologist at Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Specialists, you will join a highly distinguished team in Roseburg, Oregon. Become part of an organization recognized as the first hospital west of Texas to achieve the American College of Cardiology's Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence, and a U.S. News & World Report High Performing Hospital for Heart Attack (). This is an exceptional full-time opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a renowned facility, while enjoying the area's lush forests, rivers, and outdoor adventures.


Every day, you will be pivotal in providing compassionate and expert general cardiology care, centrally located at one hospital site with a fully integrated cardiology clinic and cardiovascular center. Your specialized expertise will be key in fostering close collaboration with colleagues, ultimately ensuring exemplary experiences for both patients and physicians.

To be successful in this role, you must be a compassionate, skilled BC/BE cardiologist possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You must also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive in a collegial, supportive environment.

Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Center is a department of Centennial Medical Group, a division of CHI Mercy Health. Located in Roseburg, Oregon, our multidisciplinary team provides a wide range of cardiology services to Douglas County's 110,000+ residents.

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Have or obtain an Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
  • Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
