Job description
- Assessing system vulnerabilities, developing riskmitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD cyberpolicy (RMF, NIST80053, CNSSI1253, etc.), and providing rapid response to security incidents and malware events
- Serving as the primary technical authority on informationsecurity matters and interacting with government program officials, contractors, and other stakeholders to safeguard missioncritical information assets

Master's degree in one of the following fields from an ABETaccredited or CAEdesignated institution: information technology, cybersecurity, data science, information systems, computer science
Alternative DoD/Military Trainings are acceptable in lieu of the master's degree:
- Completion of the training modules 4CFA26A, M09CHN1, A5310009, A5310045, or the combination (ACQ160+ISA220)
Active DoD top secret (or higher) clearance
At least one of the following DoDapproved baseline certifications:
- CISM, CISSO, FITSPM, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, CISSPISSMP, CISSP, or any equivalent certification recognized by the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework
Minimum sevenyears of progressive, fulltime experience performing advanced informationsecurity duties (or equivalent onthejob training that meets the DoD CSWF Advanced criteria)
Ability to plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures; assess network and system vulnerabilities
Ability to design and apply riskmitigation strategies
Ensure appropriate controls protect digital assets and critical infrastructure and respond effectively to security breaches and malware incidents
- Indepth knowledge of DoD cyberpolicy frameworks (RMF, NIST80053, CNSSI1253)
- Handson experience with security tools such as SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, firewalls, PKI, and DLP solutions
- Proficiency with network protocols, Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems, and cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Experience conducting risk assessments, security audits, and continuous monitoring; ability to produce System Security Plans (SSP), POA&M, and related RMF documentation
- Proven record in incident handling, forensic analysis, and remediation of cyberattacks
- Familiarity with DoD incidentresponse procedures
- Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills; capable of leading security work streams and delivering clear status reports to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience mentoring junior security personnel and promoting a culture of cyberhygiene
- Preferred additional certifications: CISA, CCSP, or DoDspecific 8570.01M IA/IAC/IAE credentials
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
- Domestic travel up to10% of the year (approximately two weeks) for site visits, security assessments, or briefings at other DoD locations
- International travel typically less than5% of the year, only when needed for coordination with overseas partners and subject to clearance approval
- Primarily onsite at the assigned location
