South Coast Winery Resort & Spa and Carter Estate Winery and Resort are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to support our Housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role plays an important part in delivering the exceptional hospitality experience our guests expect throughout the resort and winery properties.
The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of public areas, supporting Room Attendants with supplies and linen services, and assisting with deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects throughout the property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and guest areas
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean glass surfaces, and spot clean carpets
  • Stock and deliver housekeeping and guest room supplies to Room Attendants
  • Remove soiled linen, trash, and recyclables from housekeeping carts and work areas
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects, furniture moving, mattress turning, window washing, and carpet spotting
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas and linen closets
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately
  • Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Support other housekeeping team members as needed
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude while providing excellent guest service
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and tools
