Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00AM - 3:30 PM

Location: Milwaukee Mitchell International Airpot - Milwaukee, WI

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, full-time Lead Window Washer to join our team at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, WI. This is a skilled leadership position responsible for delivering high-quality interior and exterior window cleaning services, including high-access work, while setting the standard for safety and quality across the window washing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide the window washing team, setting the standard for quality, safety, and efficiency on every job.
  • Wash, scrub, and squeegee windows to remove dirt, dust, grime, water spots, and debris from glass surfaces, including frames, tracks, and sills.
  • Perform high window washing on elevated and hard-to-reach surfaces using ladders, scaffolding, extension poles, and other access equipment.
  • Safely operate scissor lifts and other aerial equipment to access elevated window surfaces, following all manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Operate and maintain window washing equipment including squeegees, scrubbers, extension poles, and water-fed poles, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  • Apply attention to detail to ensure streak-free, spotless results, using lint-free cloths to detail edges and corners for a flawless finish.
  • Coordinate window cleaning schedules with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Conduct visual inspections of completed work and address any areas requiring touch-ups to meet quality and client standards.
  • Interact professionally with clients and occupants, addressing questions or concerns with courtesy and attentiveness.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in professional window washing, including high window cleaning, required.
  • Experience operating scissor lifts; scissor lift certification preferred but not required.
  • Comfort working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial equipment.
  • Knowledge of window cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning.
  • Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities management preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
