Experienced Window Service Technician? We'd Love to Meet You.

HANSONS is seeking an experienced Residential Service Technician to help homeowners by completing lifetime warranty service, window repairs, and minor adjustments while also performing measure confirmations for replacement windows, bath remodels, and other residential home improvement projects.

If you have 2+ years of residential window installation, window repair, warranty service, or replacement window experience, this is an excellent opportunity to use your skills with one of the Midwest's leading home improvement companies.


Your Primary Responsibilities

As our Residential Service Technician, you'll be the face of HANSONS, helping homeowners protect their investment by delivering outstanding service.

Primary Focus

✔ Complete lifetime warranty service appointments

✔ Perform window repair and other residential service calls

✔ Troubleshoot operational issues with replacement windows and other HANSONS' products

✔ Replace window sashes, balances, locks, tilt latches, weatherstripping, screens, and hardware

✔ Perform minor adjustments, caulking, glass adjustments, and warranty repairs

✔ Provide exceptional customer service while working in homeowners' homes


Secondary Responsibilities

✔ Perform measure confirmations for replacement windows

✔ Verify measurements for bath remodels and other residential home improvement products

✔ Confirm openings, product specifications, and installation readiness

✔ Document measurements, photos, and service notes using a company-issued iPad

✔ Communicate with Operations and Installation teams to ensure projects are ready for production


What We're Looking ForRequired

2+ years of experience as a Window Service Technician, Window Installer, Residential Service Technician, Warranty Technician, Field Technician, or Window Repair Technician

✔ Experience with replacement windows, residential windows, window installation, or warranty service

✔ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

✔ Excellent measuring accuracy and attention to detail

✔ Professional customer service skills

✔ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
