Overview:
Lead Installers will set expectations regarding productivity, quality, safety, and installation process standards. Monitors and redirects daily execution to ensure defined processes are followed, and customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
  • Needs to communicate field issues and areas of improvement effectively.
  • Be at work on time every day.
  • Internal Employees must be at the Avanti Expert 2 level to apply for a Lead Position.
  • Clean driving records to drive company vehicles.
  • Responsible for keeping all Avanti property (trucks, tools, proper PPE) in working order. Organized and cleaned at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Must be able to direct a crew on job specifications and train on proper installation processes.
  • Knows how to ensure the crew truck has all the tools and materials needed to install their daily installation quota.
  • Responsible for keeping all Avanti property (trucks, tools, proper PPE) in working order. Organized and cleaned at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • External Candidates: Must pass and complete Avanti Expert 1 and 2 Levels before becoming a lead.
  • Ability to use cordless drivers, levels, and nail guns.
  • Ability to climb high ladders safely.
  • Ability to follow OSHA fall protection procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per day.
  • Communicate professionally and manage customer expectations.

Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge:
  • General Home Construction experience is a plus.
  • Window Installation experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, interpret, understand, and explain documents such as product specifications, warranty manuals, and customer orders.
  • Ability to effectively present information, gather information from others, and respond appropriately to questions from customers, coworkers, and managers.
  • Must display excellent phone and email etiquette. Must be able to present an appropriate attitude for the situation when interacting with customers or coworkers.

Professional Skills:
  • A team player must exhibit an ardent desire to learn and promote self-growth.
  • Must be pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and demonstrated to follow projects through to completion.
