Exterior Cleaning Technician
Window Cleaning • Pressure Washing • Gutter Cleaning • Window Film • Holiday Lighting
Window Genie of Jacksonville Beaches
Hi, my name is Elgin, and I'm the owner of Window Genie of Jacksonville Beaches.
I'm building the original field team for this location, and I'm looking for dependable people who want more than just another job.
We help homeowners and businesses protect, maintain, and improve their properties while building a company our employees are proud to work for and our customers are proud to recommend.
We hire for character first and train for skill. We don't expect you to know everything on day one. We do expect honesty, reliability, effort, and a commitment to getting 1% better every day. If you're dependable, coachable, and committed to doing quality work, we'll teach you the rest.
Compensation
Paid Bi-Weekly
  • Technician: Starting at approximately $17/hour

Additional compensation includes:
  • Performance bonuses
  • Customer tips
  • Overtime when applicable

Most weeks are approximately 24 to 45 hours (3-5 days), depending on weather, season, and customer demand.
Advancement and pay increases are earned through demonstrated skill, reliability, quality, leadership, accountability, and customer service.
Raises are based on demonstrated performance, not annual schedules.
A Typical Day
Your day starts at the shop where you'll prepare equipment and review the schedule with your team. Throughout the day you'll clean windows, pressure wash homes, install window film or lighting, meet homeowners, and transform properties across Jacksonville. Before heading home, you'll help organize equipment, restock the truck, and prepare for the next day's work.
What You'll Learn & Do
Service Excellence
  • Perform exterior home services including:
  • Window cleaning
  • Pressure washing
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Window film installation
  • Holiday and permanent lighting installation
  • Deliver work that meets Window Genie quality standards.
  • Protect customer landscaping, vehicles, furniture, and other property throughout every job.
  • Continuously improve your technical skills.

Teamwork
  • Work closely with your Crew Leader and teammates.
  • Accept coaching and apply feedback immediately.
  • Help set up, break down, and organize every job.
  • Help teammates complete each job before leaving the site.

Customer Experience
  • Represent Window Genie professionally through your appearance, attitude, and communication.
  • Treat every customer's home like it were your own.
  • Review completed work with customers when appropriate.
  • Escalate customer concerns instead of guessing at solutions.
  • Thank customers for trusting us with their properties.

Equipment & Operations
  • Load and unload trucks each day.
  • Keep trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Account for all equipment before leaving every job site.
  • Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for the next day's schedule.
  • Support company marketing efforts by placing yard signs when appropriate and encouraging satisfied customers to leave reviews.

Who Succeeds Here
You'll likely enjoy this role if you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, solving practical problems, taking pride in quality work, and continuously learning new skills.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from the shop
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and teammates.
  • Able to work legally in the United States.
  • Ability to lift and carry ladders and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
  • Comfortable working on ladders after training
