Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete service requests in a timely fashion (i.e., plumbing leaks, installs and replaces sinks, faucets, and toilets, troubleshoots and replaces basic electrical components)
  • Must know how to Complete Make Readies and Turns
  • Making apartments ready for occupancy (i.e., light carpentry work, drywall repairs and finish work)
  • Appliance, electrical, heating, plumbing and safety equipment repair and replacement
  • Preventive maintenance; assisting with inspection of apartments, buildings and grounds
  • Touch up painting, repair and replacement of window screens and glass
  • Pick up / clean grounds and common areas.
  • Have HVAC experience preferred
  • Be on-call

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in apartment maintenance
  • Must have extensive experience with high-volume apartment turnovers and make-ready processes
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Must have own tools is a plus
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must be educated on how to complete a Make Ready on an apartment unit
