Position Summary

Mr. Handyman of North Albuquerque is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman/ Home Maintenance Service Professional to perform a wide range of residential and commercial repair and maintenance services. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled trades professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of small to medium repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, and general maintenance.
  • Diagnose issues on-site and recommend effective, honest repair solutions.
  • Communicate with customers to help them understand the scope of work and manage expectations about cost and timing.
  • Create life-long customers. Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers. 
  • Complete work efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and office staff.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and vehicles.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience as a handyman, service technician, or multi-skilled trades professional.
  • Strong working knowledge of common residential and commercial repair methods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ownership of professional-grade tools appropriate for a variety of jobs.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to be insured to operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to complete a background and driving record check.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely work at heights or overhead as required.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.

As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following:

  • Carpentry work
  • Bathroom improvements
  • Kitchen improvements
  • Painting, both inside and out
  • Drywall work, minor and major repairs
  • General plumbing and electrical, as allowed by law
  • Exterior and Interior Door installation, window installation,
  • Familiar with building codes


Pay & Benefits

  • $48,000 โ€“ $66,500/year based on billable hours. Guaranteed weekly base pay
