Job description

Summary/Objective:
Oversee installation of equipment in accordance with federal, state and company policies and regulations - installing new dispensers, installing new pipes and fixing leaking pipes, cutting thread-bare pipes, installing new spill buckets, replacing dispensers and sump boots, and working with concrete. Communication and daily interaction with customers, vendors, sub-contractors, local and state regulatory agencies is required. Field Project Manager will need to monitor for any safety issues and correct any issues while still striving to complete the project on time. Field Project Manager will direct and develop foremen, while also establishing, developing and maintaining comprehensive construction options and client-base. This position will implement the company's policies and procedures, support internal and external marketing plans to increase revenues and profits and ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Certification and Training from Petroleum Equipment Manufacturers is a plus
  • Communicate effectively with foreman, subcontractors, local and state inspectors and vendors
  • Field construction experience running a crew and working with sub-contractors
  • Monitor and maintain schedules for crew and subcontractors
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Procure equipment & supplies needed, plan out project to minimize costs
  • Strong work ethic, detail oriented, reliable with strong communication skills
  • Experience installing fuel handling equipment
  • Must obtain AND maintain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Grow and drive area sales and construction plans' profitability through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies consistently across all locations.
  • Lead and direct the development of construction goals and action plans for the branch.
  • Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
  • Evaluates operational issues to determine how competitive and current it is with the latest trends in the industry.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.

Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
  • Associates or higher degree preferred.
  • Multitasking and task prioritization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Minimum of 5 years quality related work experience.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a warehouse, office, or outdoor environment (construction site).
Physical Demands:
This role operates partially in the office environment and partially in the field. Successful candidates should be able to lift 25 pounds, move across the construction site without stopping, and be able to stand on a job site for an extended period of time if needed. Driving a company vehicle safely is required as is approval and maintenance of a DOT medical card.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
Travel:
  • Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected
