What you will do:

The Window Installer is responsible for the safe and professional installation of windows and related building products on residential and commercial construction projects. This role works closely with builders, homeowners, contractors, and internal teams to ensure products are installed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Installation & Construction

  • Install windows, patio doors, and related building products on new construction and renovation projects
  • Review work orders, installation instructions, and project specifications prior to beginning work
  • Measure, level, square, and install products to ensure proper fit and operation
  • Verify completed installations meet manufacturer specifications, company quality standards, and customer expectations
  • Identify and communicate installation concerns or product issues to supervisors promptly
  • Perform adjustments and minor corrections as needed to ensure proper product performance

Jobsite Preparation & Material Handling

  • Load company vehicles with materials, tools, and equipment required for daily job assignments
  • Safely unload, stage, and organize materials at customer jobsites
  • Protect finished products and surrounding work areas from damage during installation
  • Assist with movement of windows, doors, and building materials using safe lifting practices
  • Maintain organized and efficient jobsites throughout the installation process

Customer Service

  • Communicate professionally with builders, contractors, homeowners, and other customers
  • Answer customer questions regarding installation work and project status
  • Maintain a courteous, respectful, and professional attitude during all customer interactions
  • Ensure completed work areas are clean and presentable before leaving the jobsite

Quality & Safety

  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and installation equipment
  • Inspect completed work to verify quality and customer satisfaction
  • Report unsafe conditions, damaged products, or jobsite concerns immediately
  • Promote a safety-first culture while maintaining high-quality workmanship

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Field Managers, Service Technicians, warehouse personnel, and other installation team members
  • Support production schedules and project deadlines through efficient teamwork
  • Participate in required safety meetings and job-specific training
  • Assist with additional installation or operational duties as assigned

  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably at elevated heights
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more using proper lifting techniques or team assistance
  • Frequent use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and installation equipment
