Job description

Gotcha Covered is a premier service provider for Window Coverings for residential and commercial customers. Our local, female-owned & operated franchise serves Woodbury, MN and the surrounding Eastern Metro, as well as the larger Twin Cities Metro Area.

We are seeking a professional, organized, and hard working superstar to join our team as a Sales & Design Consultant for in-home consultations. You will meet with potential customers to measure, provide solutions and prepare quotes for custom window treatments. The position is a fun and rewarding mix of meeting new people, providing creative and functional solutions, interior design, sales and business, and often includes working in the high end luxury space. Quotes are provided in-home when time allows, or followed up as needed to close a sale. Some office and paperwork will be required. The Design Consultant oversees each job from sale to installation, and is supported by our Owner and Administrative Assistant team.

Qualified leads will be provided from our various advertising sources. The Consultant will also engage in lead generation activities such as connecting with referral partners (interior designers, realtors, model home reps, builders & contractors), attending networking events, and community engagement.

Product sample books and sales tools are provided. The position allows flexible hours 30 - 35 hours a week. Hourly base pay plus commission on product sales. Medical Insurance plan is available at certain sales volumes.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years sales experience.

  • Previous experience with window coverings or similar custom products.

  • Outgoing, friendly personality that can easily engage in conversation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Desire to help others with thoughtful solutions.

  • Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills.

  • Ability to consider home decor as part of the design process during selections.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

  • Clean driving record, valid driver’s license.

  • Reliable transportation in a mid-size to larger vehicle, for transporting sample books.

Compensation: Base hourly rate plus a generous commission structure that increases as sales volume increases. Expect a yearly average income from $65,000 to $135,000. There is no cap on commissions earned.
