Description: Window and Door Installer Lead - Commercial Focus

Department/Division: Order Fulfillment Reports to: Order Fulfillment Manager Location: Wichita, KS

Position Type/Hours: Full-time I M-F I 8:00a - 5:00p

Shift: 1st

Overtime: As Required

Travel Requirement: Regional travel required FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

In this role you'll be exclusively installing Pella windows and doors in a variety of settings including Residential remodel and new construction, yet with an emphasis on Commercial applications. We offer a premium product and aim to deliver a premium experience for our customers. Every project will offer variety, as you may be leaning on trim carpentry skills one day and standing in a boom lift on a commercial site the next. To be successful in this role, you must be able to think outside the box and react quickly to keep projects moving on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Install windows and doors in residential and commercial environments
  • Complete jobs onsite to Pella installation guidelines and customer satisfaction
  • Manage an install crew onsite to ensure all codes, safety requirements, and quality concerns are met
  • Manage time and materials to stay on schedule
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customer to keep everyone on the same page
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School/GED
  • 2-3 years residential or commercial construction and/or remodeling experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Basic construction related math skills
  • Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years construction experience
  • Crew lead or supervisory experience in construction
  • GC License holder
  • OSHA certified
  • Finish carpentry experience
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This job does have supervisory responsibilities including the supervision, coaching, and development of crew members.
