Job Summary
Windows USA is looking for an experienced Window Measure Technician to support our growing replacement window business. This is a field-based 1099 contractor opportunity for someone with a strong background in window measuring, installation, carpentry, remodeling, or construction.
The Measure Technician plays a critical role after the sale by visiting customer homes, verifying project measurements, identifying installation considerations, and documenting the details needed to ensure a smooth installation process. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently in the field, and committed to delivering a professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Visit sold jobs to verify accurate window measurements and project specifications
  • Assess labor, materials, installation conditions, and any jobsite details that could impact the project
  • Identify potential installation challenges and communicate solutions clearly
  • Provide practical installation recommendations that align with customer expectations and project requirements
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of construction basics, remodeling, and window installation practices

Qualifications
