Job description

Quaker Bridge Mall — 3320 US Route 1, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648

ABOUT THE ROLE

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring two cleaners for a retail store inside Quaker Bridge Mall (store name shared after onboarding). This is a recurring monthly job — occasional, foot-in-the-door work, not full or part time. Do it well and you'll be first in line for more locations in the area.

THIS IS A 2-PERSON JOB — READ THIS PART

We hire two people separately for this store so there's always coverage. We prefer the two hires not be related or in a relationship. If you'd rather bring your own helper, that's fine — you split your one spot's pay with them, and we still hire a second person.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE & PAY

- Quaker Bridge Mall — Lawrence Township, NJ 08648

- First visit: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 — 7:00 AM start

- Frequency: Every month

- Pay: $85 per person, per visit (covers both the store clean and the windows)

Set dates are firm — the store sends a manager to let us in, so they don't move. If a date doesn't work for you, tell us the days you CAN'T work.

PAY

- $85 per person, per visit — roughly $35–$45/hr based on time on site

- If your partner doesn't show, you do the job solo and pay doubles

- Check-in, before/after photos, and check-out are done through links we send — they're required

- Paid via Cash App 24–48 hours after the job is confirmed complete to the manager's satisfaction

- Parking reimbursed only with a receipt showing date, time in, time out, place, and total

TIME ON SITE (WITH TWO PEOPLE)

- Commercial cleaning: 1.5–2 hours

- Window washing: 45 min – 1 hour

- Sometimes less, sometimes a little more — especially the first visit

THE WORK

Commercial cleaning: sweep, dust mop, vacuum and mop all floors including corners and edges; remove gum and stickers; dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents; wipe counters and display cases; empty trash and replace liners; clean and disinfect the restroom if present; damp mop office, stockroom, and break room floors.

Window washing: entry door glass inside and out; clean and polish handles, sills, and doorplates; remove spider webs, gum, debris, and tape; wipe frames and ledges; squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners; wipe ledges dry.

Full checklists come after onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 21 or older

- Prior cleaning experience — commercial or residential is fine

- Window washing experience with a scrubber and squeegee

- Reliable personal transportation

- Strong communication — checking in, responding, keeping us updated

- Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening

SUPPLIES

Bring your own and earn a per-visit bonus: +$10 for commercial cleaning supplies, +$5 for window supplies, +$15 for both. Or North Co provides everything — no bonus. Tell us what you have: all, some, or none.

Commercial: vacuum, mop and bucket (or flat mop with extra pads), broom and dustpan and/or dust mop, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner, scrubber or deck brush.

Windows: window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, scraper or razor, bucket.

Step stool or extension pole is handy but not required.

DRESS CODE

Slip-resistant shoes (we can help if needed). Clean plain blue or black shirt (branded shirt at 3 months). Jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive clean and presentable.

PHOTOS & CHECK-OUT

Before and after photos of everything, plus a full walkthrough with the store manager before you leave. This is how you get paid — don't skip it.

COMMUNICATION

This is our #1 priority. If you can't make a date, tell us ahead of time. No-shows end the relationship.
