About the role
The Senior Director role reports into Brand & Creative leadership and is responsible for executing and elevating the brand experience across retail and in-office environments.
This role oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution for our digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and development and execution for retail/office environments. The ideal candidate brings deep experience translating brand strategy into emotionally resonant, high-impact creative work that drives engagement, growth, and differentiation within physical brand environments.
This leader will manage and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. They will partner closely with Retail Operations, Product, Communications, and Executive Leadership to deliver cohesive creative narratives that reflect our brand's purpose and promise.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of two onsite days per week at our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC office.
You Will
  • Develop and articulate a holistic creative vision that brings our brand to life across retail and in-office environments.
  • Lead the creative direction for integrated campaigns, physical retail experiences, signage, in-office branding, and environmental design.
  • Oversee creative for digital marketing, web, email, social media, and multimedia content.
  • Ensure the digital brand experience is cohesive, accessible, and optimized for user engagement and conversion.
  • Partner with product and digital teams to bring new features, initiatives, and campaigns to life visually.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines, business objectives, and customer insights.
  • Drive innovation in creative storytelling, visual identity, and experience design across retail and physical brand environments.
  • Lead creative development for retail and in-office brand environments, including signage systems, merchandising visuals, and environmental graphics.
  • Ensure the physical brand experience reflects MyEyeDr.'s positioning around Vision, Expert Care, and Style.
  • Partner with Brand & Creative leadership to ensure alignment with broader brand strategy.
  • Lead the creative vision for in-office environmental graphics, signage systems, workplace branding, and experiential installations.
  • Partner with Retail/Facilities teams to concept and execute retail office creative, including window displays, merchandising visuals, brand storytelling elements, and customer journey touchpoints.
  • Ensure brand consistency across physical spaces with scalable creative systems and standards.
  • Manage the full creative process from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Champion efficient workflows, project prioritization, and best-in-class creative operations.
  • Track creative performance, using insights to optimize future work.
  • Ensure alignment with Brand & Creative leadership on priorities, creative standards, and execution.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Business, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education, experience & skills.
  • 14+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership roles within brand, marketing, and digital advertising environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional work across physical retail and physical brand experiences.
  • Experience designing creative for physical retail, offices, or experiential environments (e.g., signage, displays, environmental graphics).
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Expertise in brand strategy, visual identity systems, and integrated campaign development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and a solutions-driven mindset.
  • Experience in a multi-location retail or workplace environment preferred.
  • Background in both agency and in-house settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with user experience principles, digital product development, and/or wayfinding systems preferred.
  • Experience with retail environmental design systems and brand standards preferred.
