What is the difference between Window Design Consultant vs Window Installer?

AspectWindow Design ConsultantWindow Installer
CredentialsDesign certifications, knowledge of window styles and materialsInstallation licenses, technical skills in fitting windows
Work EnvironmentDesign offices, client consultations, showroomsConstruction sites, residential and commercial buildings
Industry UsageDesign and planning phase, client advisingInstallation and assembly phase, on-site work

While both roles are essential in the window industry, a Window Design Consultant focuses on designing and advising clients on window styles and materials, often working in offices or showrooms. In contrast, a Window Installer executes the physical installation of windows on-site. Understanding these differences helps clients find the right professional for their project needs.
