Job description

Universal Window Solutions is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Associate to become a valuable part of our team. This role is responsible for generating new business, managing existing customer relationships, and driving window and door sales throughout the West Coast of Florida. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry, understands the window and door market, and is comfortable working with builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners. This individual will guide clients through the entire sales process, from initial consultation and estimating to project completion - while delivering exceptional customer service.
Pay Range: Salary + Commission with company gas card and car allowance.
Hours: 40+ per week
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects and homeowners.
  • Generate new leads and manage existing accounts to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct jobsite visits and meet with prospective and existing customers to assess project needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Guide customers through product selection, installation options and project requirements.
  • Read blueprints and perform accurate material takeoffs from plans.
  • Prepare detailed quotes and estimates in a timely manner.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and consultations to closing deals and project follow-up.
  • Process orders and ensure all documentation and paperwork are accurate and complete.
  • Assist customers with problem resolution and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with payment collection when necessary.
  • Stay informed about product lines, building codes, and industry trends to effectively support customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction sales, preferably in windows and doors
  • Knowledge of Florida window and door applications strongly preferred
  • Experience reading blueprints and conducting takeoffs is required.
  • Experience preparing window and door quotes is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction process and contractor workflows
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass an MVR check
  • Auto insurance coverage that meets company requirements
