Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Associate position is a pivotal role within our organization, aimed at supporting warehouse production and operations. Your primary responsibilities will include inventory control, kit building, picking and packing orders, and light manufacturing. You will work to ensure that all operations adhere to the highest GVBK quality standards. The ideal candidate will be driven by a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and will strive to produce and fulfill orders that exceed expectations for both internal and external customers.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Enter production data into Excel to effectively run orders and schedule production, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Accurately and efficiently produce production items with zero defects to meet or exceed demand.
  • Manage and maintain kits for all Field Support Technicians (FSTs), dealers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure readiness for installation according to company standards.
  • Read and follow drawings and schematics accurately to produce components as per specifications.
  • Communicate all inventory usage effectively, ensuring that the inventory on hand is accurately accounted for, and that Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is correctly reported.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to build a positive dynamic work environment.
  • Maintain a tidy production area and contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Ensure that shop tools are well-maintained and in good working order at all times.
  • Utilize basic inventory software to look up inventories and understand the count process.
  • Print and examine blueprints for accuracy, and assemble parts according to detailed instructions.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary to support department efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all corporate and Health & Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for counting and calculations.
  • Mechanical and technical abilities, including the ability to interpret blueprints and operate computers, tools, and general production equipment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Color vision is required to accurately identify different color wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Forklift certification is preferred, offering an added advantage in responsibilities.
