Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and create personalized therapy strategies to aid them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to help elevate patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Their Support Systems: Teach patients and their families vital therapy methods to facilitate continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor and record clinical outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment for maximum effectiveness.

Educational Background

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported.

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
