Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of mobile sales and service solutions in the Gas Business Unit, including the 100+ user-base, Salesforce Enterprise version system. 
This individual will liaise with the organizations within the Gas Business Unit and cross functional teams to provide support and drive adoption. 
Principle Duties: 
(1) Understand the business requirements, provide solutions and develop them on Salesforce platform. 
(2) Use Salesforce Out of the Box functionality for providing solutions to business requirements 
(3) Implement customized solutions using apex triggers, apex classes and ensure on getting maximum test coverage. 
(4) Provide and develop optimized solutions according to Salesforce best practices 
(5) Assist in the development of standardized business practices utilizing Salesforce. 
(6) Implement new business processes through the applications as requested by the user community and approved by management. 
(7) Develop training materials and conduct training for the user community. 
(8) Resolve issues with the applications. 
(9) Assist with application upgrades and updates. 
(10) Secure and control data access to the proper users. 
(11) Handle data loading using various data loading tools 
(12) Audit field usage and overall system adoption on a regular basis. 
(13) Provide global day-to-day end user support. 
(14) Conduct system maintenance. 
(15) Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, profiles, and roles. 
(16) Improve Salesforce functionality by adding portals and other enhancements that allow other organizations (internal and external to Eversource) to utilize the data in Salesforce.com to improve the sales and sales fulfillment process. 
(17) Maintain clean and up-to-date data in the applications. 
(18) Deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information. 
(19) Remain updated with new Salesforce.com features and functionality providing recommendations for process improvements. 
(20) Develop mobile application using Salesforce1. 
(21) Ensures the integrity of data in Salesforce applications. 
(22) Collects, reviews and utilizes daily/nightly application exception reports for the purpose of resolving customer data, field devices and application issues. 
(23) Prepare documentation like but not limited to technical design document, unit test document, deployment document. 
(24) Deploy the changes to production using migration tools. 

Qualifications

Candidates MUST BE Salesforce Certified with experience as an admin and developer. Some wiggle room with Rate, ok to Submit Candidates at Higher Rate. Steve at Guidant working this Order. Order is for 6 months to start, possible extension. Work Location: Berlin, CT.

Minimum Requirements: 
Educations: 
(1) Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 
Experience: 
(1) A minimum of three (3) years of related experience. 
(2) Must be Salesforce certified Administrator and Developer 
(3) Previous experience utilizing and administering the Salesforce required. 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
(1) Knowledge of using AppExchange products. 
(2) Knowledge of integration using REST and SOAP 
(3) Must have worked on all phases of Software Development Life Cycle 
(4) Ability to work in a team oriented environment. 
(5)Ability to work independently without much supervision 
(6) Good interpersonal and communications skills. 
(7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
(8) Strong presentation and training skills. 
(9) Strong problem solving skills and be able to apply creativity to improve processes. 
(10) Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be customer focused. 
(11) Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong time management skills. 
(12) Strong project management skills to manage lifecycles of small to large scale projects. 
(13) Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). The split between System Admin/Developer is 40/60.
