Job description

Saltmara Wicker Park is seeking talented and licensed Nail Technicians to join our team! At Saltmara Nails, we believe in taking care of our technicians as much as we care for our clients. We offer a clean, modern salon environment focused on high-quality nail care, client experience, and professional growth.

What are we looking for?

  • Valid Illinois Nail Technician license required
  • Experience with gel, Apres, and Russian manicure techniques preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Availability to set your own schedule and provide weekend coverage as needed
  • Passion for the beauty industry and nail artistry

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide a full range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel, and nail art
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Recommend additional services and retail products to clients
  • Stay current with nail trends and techniques

What can you expect from Saltmara?

We pay a competitive base hourly rate of $16-$18/hr based on skill set, and you are paid hourly even during non-booked time, so your income is always protected. In addition to your base rate, you will also earn tips directly from clients on every service, plus commission on nail art. With tips and commission, technicians have the potential to earn between $25-$35/hr. We also have a master educator on staff to support your ongoing training and growth in proper nail techniques.
