RATP Dev USA - Lextran Wheels is hiring Paratransit Bus Drivers to join our transportation team in Lexington, Kentucky.
If you are looking for a Bus Driver, Transit Driver, Paratransit Driver, CDL Bus Driver, or Passenger Transportation opportunity, we want to meet you!
As a Paratransit Bus Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to passengers who may have disabilities, mobility challenges, or require specialized transportation services.
Pay: $17.16 per hour

Profile
What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a paratransit bus and provide passenger transportation throughout the Lexington area.
  • Transport passengers safely and on schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus when needed.
  • Secure wheelchairs, mobility devices, and other passenger equipment.
  • Follow assigned routes, schedules, and transportation procedures.
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report vehicle maintenance, safety, or passenger concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate trip and passenger records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, passengers, and other team members.
  • Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable attendance and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility needs.
  • Ability to follow schedules, routes, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain professional and calm when working with passengers.
  • Previous bus driver, transit driver, paratransit driver, shuttle driver, commercial driver, or passenger transportation experience is a plus.
  • CDL experience is a plus but not required if the candidate can meet applicable company and regulatory requirements.
