Sierra Motors is currently seeking a full time Automotive Front End Technician. Must have experience. Job duties include but are not limited to:
  • Tire Mounting and Balancing - High Volume
  • Front end alignments
  • Brakes, shocks, struts, and front end work
  • Installation of aftermarket lowering kits and lift kits
  • Mounting and balancing tires and wheels including custom, low profile and light truck.
  • Mechanical Repairs
  • Reset TMPS systems
  • Clean and maintain service equipment and shop

Must have good oral and written skills and a valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership specifications
  • Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including electrical steering, suspension, brakes, , etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor/ Service Dispatcher so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications
  • Service Technician experience required
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • B level qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Team player
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
