We’re looking for 310S Automotive Service Technician to perform from routine maintenance to complex repairs on a variety of vehicles. This full-time, permanent role is based in our Queensdale Ave. Ottawa, ON location.

This position qualifies for Kal Tire’s Automotive Service Technician Recruitment and Retention Program, and includes an incentive of up to $5,000 during your first year.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
  • Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
  • Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Bring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Experience with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
