Job description

Our dynamic research team in BaisakhLab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics to lead integration of large-scale multi-omics datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, and phenomics. In this role, you will employ advanced computational pipelines including machine learning frameworks to decode high-throughput sequencing data into actionable biological understandings. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with wet-lab and field scientists for subsequent translation of computational findings into empirical validation. The project goal is to elucidate molecular mechanisms underlying complex phenotypic traits in plants, ultimately strategizing molecular breeding tools to accelerate improved variety development in sugarcane (and other crops, as needed).

Join us to leverage multitude of datasets to leave your footprint on our program while advancing your academic career. If you have an MS degree and at least three years of documented experience in analyzing highthroughput sequencing data, you can be considered a Research Associate Specialist.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
