Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our growing team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, a community-based hospital located in the heart of beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia. We are looking for a collegial, motivated physician with strong clinical and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. This hospital-based role features a 7-on/7-off schedule with no outpatient responsibilities, offering outstanding work-life balance in one of the most scenic and vibrant communities in the region.

Position Highlights
  • Employed position with Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Group
  • 7-on/7-off schedule for excellent work-life balance
  • Elective colonoscopies performed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
  • ERCP and/or EUS not required but welcome
  • Strong internal referral network with rapid ramp-up and dedicated marketing support
  • Epic electronic medical record system

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: 610,000/year plus wRVU productivity bonuses
  • Quality Incentive Bonus: Up to 24,500/year
