SEEKING EXEMPLARY CARING NURSING PROFESSIONALS WHO WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Manager and functions within the LPN Scope of Practice. The LPN is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients with medical/surgical needs. This includes age appropriate interventions that meet physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs.

The LPN is responsible for coordination and delivery of high quality care . Additionally they are responsible for attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, special projects and continued education.

Required Minimum Education:

High School Diploma General or GED General or Other / Diploma in Nursing

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support

Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 1 year in a physician's practice or an Ambulatory environment is preferred
