What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will work closely with our veterinarians and technicians, ensuring that every patient receives outstanding care throughout their visit. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for examinations and treatments
- Assisting with diagnostic testing and sample collection
- Supporting surgical and dental procedures
- Monitoring patient comfort and recovery
- Documenting medical histories and patient information
- Educating pet owners on wellness advice and treatment plans
- Maintaining treatment areas and medical equipment
- Safely handling and restraining animals of various sizes and temperaments
