Job description

The Wellness Consultant is responsible for assisting Arizona registered medical marijuana patients with understanding, selecting and using products that are dispensed in our dispensaries. The Budtender provides individual support and customer service to our patients, ensuring that they have a positive experience. A large portion of this job is understanding the medicine, providing clear direction to our patients, providing optimum care.

Responsibilities include:

· Providing superior customer service to our patients

· Understanding the medicinal benefits of our cannabis and CBD products, and effectively communicating those benefits to patients

· Properly documenting information in the Treez and AZDHS systems to ensure proper compliance

· Contributing to a small close-knit sales and service team, including working together to provide excellent patient care

· Supporting a healthy environment, and ensuring our dispensaries are clean and free from debris (including bathrooms and parking lots)

· Ensuring a safe environment for our staff and patients, by following all safety and security protocols

· Working during the dispensary’s open hours.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

· Must be 21 years of age to work in a medical marijuana dispensary

· Previous experience working in a retail sales environment

· Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients

· Experience in working with a point of sale (POS) system

· Ability to meet high-volume targets while still providing quality patient care

· Willingness to learn and appreciate the complexities of the cannabis industry

· Computer literacy with experience working with both internal and external web-based systems

· High school diploma or GED.

· Must be able to obtain an Arizona Facility Agent card from the Arizona Department of Health
