As a Physical Therapist, you will provide essential rehabilitative care to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or disabilities, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients, ensuring comprehensive treatment that aligns with physician recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical function, mobility, and overall health, and develop individualized care plans focused on achieving patients' rehabilitation goals.
  • Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, strength training, and mobility exercises, while documenting patient responses and adjusting treatment as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, therapeutic modalities, and the use of assistive devices, ensuring they understand proper techniques to support recovery at home.
  • Prioritize caseload management, coordinate staffing needs, and actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adult and pediatric patients recovering from diverse conditions, including orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. Flex Well Therapeutics serves a diverse patient population, allowing you to apply your expertise in various clinical settings while witnessing the direct impact of your work on patient recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of California.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days from the start of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation tracking tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic regimes for a diverse patient population, including knowledge of gait training and post-operative rehabilitation protocols.
