Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (90 Days)
Job Summary
We are hiring a MIG Welder for a client in Winder, GA. This is a Temp to hire opportunity with a clear path to permanent placement after 90 days. The ideal candidate brings hands-on MIG welding experience and a strong attention to weld quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal components and assemblies
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensions, and defects
Set up and adjust welding equipment, wire feed, and gas settings
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols
Report equipment issues or material deficiencies to supervision
Must Haves
Hands-on MIG welding experience in a production or fabrication environment
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Ability to pass a weld test prior to placement
Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with structural or heavy plate welding
Familiarity with flux-core or dual-shield welding processes
Prior experience in a temp-to-hire or high-volume production setting
AWS certification or formal welding training
