About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder for our client's team in Naches, Washington. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with various welding techniques, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship. This position offers steady, full-time work for someone looking to grow with a stable local employer.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and/or Stick, as applicable)
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions as required
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
- Measure, cut, and fit metal parts prior to welding
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades on job sites
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or material defects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
