General Job Description

Under the direction of the Plant Supervisor, floats between manufacturing departments depending on where the biggest need are at the time. May perform duties for rework, in Welding, CNC, Punch Press, Brake Press, Laser, Turret, Finishing/Grinding, Shipping and Receiving, and Assembly.

Minimum Qualifications:

•Have the ability to constantly lift and/or move 1-50 pounds

•Knowledge of how to read and understand blueprints preferred

•Knowledge of the metric system preferred

•Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.

•Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

Specific Duties:

1.Safely operates machinery in various departments to help meet production goals.

3.Works with Plant Manager to determine where he/she should work that day

4.Meet quality and performance measures in accordance with Company standards

5.Ability to be flexible and perform a wide variety of functions within a working day

Protective clothing/equipment requirement:

•This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending (neck & waist), sitting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting (neck & waist), and using both the dominate and non-dominate hands

•Constant lifting and/or moving between 1-50 lbs, regular lifting and/or moving between 51-75 lbs, and occasional lifting and/or moving between 76-100 lbs required

•Regularly works around heavy machinery equipment,

•Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, and heights

•Requires the use of safety glasses and shoes, tight-fitting clothing without tears, hearing protection and gloves
