As a Body Shop Apprentice, you'll work side-by-side with experienced Body Shop Technicians, learning the skills needed to repair and restore commercial trucks and buses. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you'll gain experience in collision repair, structural repairs, vehicle refinishing, welding, and manufacturer repair procedures while building a rewarding career with one of the premier commercial truck dealerships in the West.
What You'll Do
  • Assist experienced technicians with vehicle disassembly, reassembly, and collision repairs.
  • Learn body panel replacement, dent repair, structural repairs, and refinishing preparation.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces.
  • Perform detailing and final vehicle preparation before customer delivery.
  • Safely operate shop tools and equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in manufacturer and company training programs to build your technical skills.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards while supporting the Body Shop team.
