Apprentice Electrician
We're looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician supports Journeyman Electricians by installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, while also assisting with material handling, prefabrication, and warehouse tasks. The position requires ongoing training through weekly classes and in-house instruction, with adherence to safety policies and a willingness to work flexible hours.

Essential Duties:
  • Comply with all company safety policies
  • Work under the supervision of an assigned Journeymen electrician
  • Install wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on the direction of a Journeyman
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform warehouse duties and material handling as needed
  • Perform pre-fab duties both on and off-site as needed
  • Learn to follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes
  • Attend schooling 1 night a week and maintain passing grades
  • Attend in-house training
  • Available to work overtime and/or irregular business hours as requested
  • Performs other duties assigned

  • The physical activity for this role includes:
    • Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods

    • Frequently lifting up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 80lbs.
    • Work safely from heights of up to 50 feet
    • Occasional work in constricted spaces
    • Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
    • Working outside in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
