SUMMARY

  • Lays out, fits, and welds steel fabricated components for all FMH Conveyors products lines.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calculates the location of various stop, dowel pins, drill bushings, etc.
  • Selects the various types and methods of work holding. (Jigs and Fixtures)
  • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using mig welder.
  • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using tig welder.
  • Sets up and operate a cutting torch and hand held plasma cutter.
  • Knowledge of fabrication operation procedures, and basic mechanics of fabrication machinery and equipment
  • Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on shear.
  • Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on brake press.
  • Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on mechanical power presses.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
