Job description

We'relooking for an experiencedField Service Technician to join our team and support projects at power plants and industrial sites across the U.S.

This is a fieldfocused role where yourexpertisein construction environments, and handson mechanical skills will make a direct impact on our customers and project success.

To ensure full transparency, please note the following:

  • 75% travel is mandatory.This includes overnights, extended field assignments, and occasional shortnotice assignments. (All expenses paid)

  • Field work often involvesemergency or unscheduled tasks, and hours may vary based on project demands.

  • Overtime or doubletime may be available during field assignments, in line with company policy and applicable wage laws.

  • A20% fieldwork premiumapplies when working at remote job sites.

  • When not in the field, you will work in theshopto ensure consistent employment in between assignments (Permanent Role, not Contract Work)

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION

  • Coordinate tools, materials, and equipment for the jobsite to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.

  • Work closely with customers and subcontractors on-site,representingour company with professionalism andstrong communication.

  • Complete required safety processes, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) prior to any work.

  • Conduct welding inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting based on company procedures and project needs.

  • Provide the project manager with daily updates on progress, challenges, and any changes that mayimpactscope or timeline.

  • Help manage project costs bysubmittingaccuratefield documentation, receipts, and reports on time.

  • When not assigned to field work, perform welding and fabrication tasks in the shop tomaintainsteady hours and continuous employment.

YOU HAVE

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measurements, and fabrication drawings.

  • Priorleadership, crew coordination, or field supervision experience

  • The ability to work hours based on businessneeds,not guaranteed to follow a standard schedule.

  • AWS 6G MIG aluminum welding certification(preferred)

  • Willingness toparticipatein OSHA 30 training(required)

  • Forklift/manlift operator training certification

  • Avalid driver's licensewitha good drivingrecord(required)

  • Willingness and ability totravel 75% of the time, often to remote power plants and industrialjob sites.

  • Ability to use basic technology and software, including Tablets, laptops, and Microsoft Office Products.

  • Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; stand, walk, kneel, climb, andliftto 50lbs.regularly.

  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
