Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipe Welders for projects located in the Maryville, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience plus $150/day worked per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Pipe Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Perform pipe welding on carbon and stainless steel piping systems
  • Complete 2" Schedule 80 carbon steel weld tests to specifications
  • TIG and Stick weld pipe in multiple positions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and ISO drawings
  • Fabricate, fit, and weld pipe systems for industrial equipment and process lines
  • Maintain high-quality welds that meet code and project standards

Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of pipe welding experience
  • Pass TIG weld tests on stainless & carbon steel as well as D1.1 SMAW tests
  • Strong stainless steel welding experience
  • Experience with TIG & Stick welding
  • All PPE and welding gear
  • OSHA 10 is preferred
