The Expeditor plays a key role in keeping production moving smoothly by reviewing daily schedules and work orders, gathering and organizing parts and materials, and ensuring that welders and other production personnel receive the components they need on time. This position supports efficient workflow across fabrication, machining, and production areas, monitors for shortages or delays, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.

• Review daily production schedules and work orders to understand priorities and required materials.
• Gather required parts and materials from fabrication, machining, and other production areas according to specific work orders.
• Organize components onto carts and stage them accurately for welding and downstream production processes.
• Deliver completed kits and staged materials to welders and other production personnel in a timely manner.
• Monitor work orders for missing parts, material shortages, or production delays and take appropriate action.
• Communicate material shortages, bottlenecks, and production issues clearly to supervisors and production leads.
• Assist with maintaining efficient workflow throughout the manufacturing process by coordinating material movement.
• Use computers and production systems to track work orders, inventory levels, and production status.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings and part identification documents to verify correct parts and assemblies.
• Maintain organization and accuracy while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Perform general housekeeping duties before, during, and after each shift to keep work areas clean and safe.
• Remove banding, cardboard, plastic, and other debris from work areas to support safety and efficiency.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams to meet schedules and deadlines.

• Ability to read and interpret production schedules and work orders to prioritize parts movement.
• Experience locating, identifying, and pulling parts from various fabrication machines and production areas.
• Skill in staging and organizing components for welding and downstream production.
• Strong communication skills to report material shortages and production issues to leads and supervisors.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate production and inventory systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings and part identification documents.
• Strong reading, writing, and general literacy skills.
• Good attention to detail with strong organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently while supporting and coordinating with production teams.

• Interest in fabrication, welding, and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to learn production coordination and material management best practices.
• Comfort working with computers and learning new production software tools.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
• Capacity to work overtime, including 10–12 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays, when required.

This role is based in an industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility with frequent movement between machines, fabrication areas, and welding stations. The environment is fast-paced and focused on meeting schedules and deadlines, with regular exposure to welding, fabrication, and material handling operations. You will stand and walk for most of the shift and regularly lift materials and parts up to 50 pounds. Mandatory use of appropriate personal protective equipment and strict adherence to safety procedures are required. Overtime, including 10–12 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays, may be necessary to support production demands.

This is a Contract position based out of Andrews, SC.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
