P.J. Fitzpatrick is excited to announce an opening for a Bathroom Remodeling Apprentice! This position is designed for individuals eager to kickstart a rewarding career in the home improvement industry. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals in bathroom renovations, focusing on high-quality acrylic bath installations. Join our team and develop your skills while contributing to beautiful home transformations!

Pay: Starting at $22 per hour, plus opportunities for performance bonuses!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard day shifts, with potential for overtime.

Job Duties
  • Assist experienced installers with residential bathroom remodeling projects, specializing in acrylic bath and shower systems.
  • Learn to safely remove existing tubs, showers, and surrounding materials.
  • Prepare work areas by protecting customers' homes and ensuring a clean, organized job site.
  • Measure, cut, and install acrylic wall systems, tubs, shower bases, trim, and accessories under supervision.
  • Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely while following company safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and work area.
  • Assist with basic plumbing adjustments, carpentry, and finishing work as directed by the lead installer.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service throughout each project.
  • Follow installation procedures and quality standards to ensure every bathroom is completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions and actively develop the skills needed to become a skilled bathroom installer.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Job Requirements:
