Job Overview
TE Connectivity's ASSEMBLY OPERATOR III Welder is responsible for operating CNC-controlled EB welding equipment to produce high-precision welds on advanced materials. This role supports production and process development through weld optimization, equipment maintenance, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards.
Job Requirements
  • Essential duties include but may not be limited to the following:
    • Operate CNC-controlled electron beam (EB) welding machines, including part setup and alignment
    • Develop, maintain, and evaluate weld schedules to ensure consistent weld quality
    • Perform machine maintenance, calibration, and testing
    • Weld a variety of materials including titanium, stainless steel, copper, C103, and Inconel
    • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and weld specifications
    • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas (5S)

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of TIG welding experience or completion of an accredited welding program

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of electron beam welding experience
  • Experience with high- and low-voltage equipment
  • Experience with manual and robotic welding system
  • sStrong TIG welding background
  • Knowledge of AWS D17.1 standards

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $23 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
