Client:              Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location:         Davenport, IA 52809
Duration:         12 Months (Possible extension/conversion)
Shift:                3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, OT possible)

Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer focused on welding processes (manual & robotic), production support, and process improvement. This role involves optimizing weld operations, troubleshooting automation systems, and supporting shop floor execution in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities (Mobile-Friendly)

• Support manual and robotic welding processes in production
• Troubleshoot welding issues (automated and manual systems)
• Improve manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
• Support feasibility testing and validation of engineering solutions
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and documentation
• Inspect systems and recommend corrective actions
• Execute projects within defined manufacturing processes
• Communicate updates, track work, and follow up on tasks
