Job Description
This position is responsible for teaching Welding and related courses at the WITCC CHEROKEE campus. Courses are assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.
  • Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students.
  • Evaluates and reports student performance and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures.
  • Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication and human relation skills.
  • Welcome, value, and nurture people of all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, as well as support and promote an environment that accepts differences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Welding degree.
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector/Welding Educator.
