Job Description

Position Title: Production Weld Associate

FLSA Status: Non-exempt Level 1

Position Summary: Performs duties required to weld and inspect automotive parts.

Position Responsibilities:

Loads bins with parts.

Loads parts into robotic weld cells.

If trained, may perform manual spot/repair weld functions.

Inspects parts for quality.

Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.

Conducts machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals.

Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).

Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications:

High School diploma.

Follow all safety requirements of the company - PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, weld sleeves) safe job behaviors, etc.

Able to read and understand operation standards and job instructions.

Able use basic tools.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas.

Work Environment:

Plant environment.

Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
