  • Supporting medical weight-management visits and tracking patient progress
  • Coordinating follow-up visits and helping patients stay on track with their treatment plans
  • Administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as ordered by the provider, including GLP-1 medications, vitamin B12, and lipotropic injections
  • Performing venipuncture and preparing laboratory specimens
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
  • Assisting with medication prior authorizations and pharmacy coordination
  • Returning patient calls and assisting with appropriate follow-up scheduling
  • Providing professional, compassionate patient education within the MA scope of practice
  • Maintaining clean, organized, fully stocked exam and treatment rooms
  • Working collaboratively with providers and team members to keep clinic operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, professional, and genuinely enjoys working with patients.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical weight-management or weight-loss clinic experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with GLP-1 medications or injection-based programs is highly desirable
  • Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
  • Comfortable administering subcutaneous and IM injections

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Comfortable communicating with pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a warm, welcoming patient experience
Why Join Get Well Clinic?
We want our team members to feel valued and have the opportunity to grow with the practice.
Benefits include:

  • $18–$20/hour, depending on experience

  • Monday–Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. schedule
  • No weekends
  • Hands-on experience in medical weight management and outpatient family medicine
  • Opportunity to grow your clinical skills
  • Supportive, team-oriented work environment
  • Direct involvement in helping patients achieve meaningful health and weight-management goals
