Requirements:
The Custodian assists in ensuring a safe and healthy restaurant environment by providing custodial and maintenance services so that full use of the facility is available to customers. Responsible for making sure the restaurant meets the needs of customers and help maintain the day-to-day cleanliness of building and/or basic facility maintenance while keeping the restaurant maintenance while keeping the restaurant and parking lot in clean and orderly condition.
Principal Areas of Responsibilities
• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and power washing
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, vestibules, store entrance areas
• Empty or compact trash cans for proper disposal; pick up trash on the lot and sweep curbs
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, power washers, backpack vacuums and buffers
Organize and clean stock areas, coolers and freezers.

. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
. Follow schedule, manage time effectively and be independently motivated
Ability to read and comprehend instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one to other employees of the organization, Attention to detail and the initiative to take on tasks without being monitored.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
