Job description:

Eliza at Chagrin Falls, a premier assisted living and skilled nursing facility, is currently looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join our dietary services team. We are hiring for part-time weekends only.


Responsibilities:

-  Clean equipment and surfaces according to department procedures.

-  Sweep and mop kitchen floors.

-  Remove trash and garbage to disposal areas and clean trash containers.

-  Operate dish machine, compactor and garbage disposal.

-  Wash dishes, carts, pans.

-  Complete dish machine temperature log and cleaning list log.

-  Assure safe and sanitary use of all cleaning agents.

-  Transport food to and from floors.

-  Break-up cardboard and transport supplies to designated areas as required.

-  Remain current with all Human Resource assignments, Mantoux, etc.

-  Provide the people we serve with clear opportunities to direct their own lives and decide how they will spend their day.

-  Ensure a safe environment for residents and utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner.

-  Report all hazardous conditions including incidents, injuries, and equipment to the appropriate Supervisor immediately.
